I've been using RSS Feed along with google.com/ig or google customs for a while now and it does save me a lot of time from browsing through different websites Pcmag.com, Smartcomputing.com Download.com just to name a few for updates and events on the blogs and even for a preview of the posts before I go ahead and read them. The library can take advantage of this technology by enabling patrons to subscribe to feeds (events, holidays, special services, new requisitions and system-wide computer training class schedules). This definitely is one of the great tools out there each of us should check into if we want to stay in the fast lane.
