Zoho Writer

I love Zoho Writer, better than Google docs I must say. Had this been around in 2001 I would have passed the English Comp III class and not have to retake it, I would have been able to access my 5-page essay online and forget about the floppy disk altogether.
It has lots of features, including instant collaboration which lets others review your your document, the ability to publish documents to a blog, and insert comments. I think it's something I'll definitely use in the near future.Including Google docs this is something I'll continue to tell the patrons about,especially those w/out MS Word installed on their home PC.

As with everything else there's pros and cons. We don't know how true some info on Wiki maybe , but at least it enables somebody else to update the info. This may be confusing at times especially with dosage instructions of herbs/supplements which have not been thoroughly tested and you're given a number of different opinions from unknown sources.

Web 2.0

To me I don't think that libraries have always been 2.0, besides they're just getting started because a lot of people to this day still think of libraries as books after books however; there's been many improvements in trying to attract younger people back in the library by means of special activities such as recording studio, coffee shops, sports, virtual simulator, video games club, social networking and others. Web 2.0 is about your personal journal which nobody cares about unless you have something that's pleasurable on it and making sure they keep coming by posting new posts, nevertheless there's always going to be something new in the near future,(they're being beta tested as you're reading this) I can't wait!

Blogs-in-a-Million search engine aka Technorati, if it's out there it'll find it. I mostly like how blogs are tagged with different tags which broaden search result. Free and Easy Computer Tutorials was one of the results under the pbclibrary and was tagged: "computers,online training,tutorial and Microsoft office".
